Decisions...decisions...

Choose from one of our three quiet romantic guest rooms at Snug Hollow Farm Bed and Breakfast, and settle in to the privacy of the peaceful second floor. Each room artfully decorated in a style appropriate to our 1790 Pennsylvania farmhouse. Sleep deprived? Laze in the comfort of soothing colors, original family antiques and exceptionally comfy half-canopy beds. Aura in need of a good fluffing? Gaze out at wonderful views of mature trees, manicured lawns, occasional wildlife and...let your heart sing along with the sweet music of the birds just outside your windows.

"Karen's" room
Ascend your private spiral staircase to this secluded not-so-mini-suite. A large bedroom features a half-canopy King sized bed that can be made up as two twins for two friends or relatives traveling together. This home away from home surrounds you with soothing colors, family antiques, items collected on travels, magazines and books, an adjacent dressing room with its prominent Victorian mirror, plus shower. View the lovely garden, lawns and woodland while brushing your teeth and catch a glimpse of gentle country creatures as they catch a glimpse of you. Our two teddy bears, Ambrose and Aloysius, are happy to provide mental health services at any time during your stay.

"Nancy's" Room

This cheery Queen sized room with half-canopy bed is the original 1790 section of the house as evidenced by its original pine flooring and curved window returns. It's the perfect spot to settle in with a good book, or needlework amidst family antiques and views out three different vantage points to the garden, lawns and trees. Stroll, rubber ducky in hand, to your private hall bath with tub and shower for the exclusive use of "Nancy's" room and the "Nursery".

The "Nursery"

This is such an adorable room... decorated so sweetly as a nursery. A bright and happy little space, it features shelves filled with family baby objects d'arts and toys. Although single-sized, the room features an amazingly comfortable bed (as noted by many grooms who have slept there before their wedding!). The Nursery is booked only in conjunction with "Nancy's" room and utilizes the nearby guest room bath.

While our house mascot "Fred" may have met his demise a long time ago (at the hands of someone else!) somewhere high above the Arctic Circle, he continues to bring good fortune and a certain venison-style charm to our home. Guarding the stairs to the second floor, Fred keeps a watchful eye over the Karma of our guests. Gently catching the eye when one descends the stairs Fred seems to know what each person has in mind for that particular day or eve, and, by golly, he's both ready and able to make it happen successfully. Fred particularly enjoys the winter holidays and has been known, after a few too many oh-be-joyfulls, to don a red lamp for his nose!
